If someone wants to recover data, they are going to have to go to some serious effort.  Drills are plentiful, and making a single hole is an easy task.&lt;/p&gt;

	&lt;p&gt;If your application requires a greater level of security, then shred the hard drive.  You can do this with a physical device your purchase or through a service that will do it for you.&lt;/p&gt;
